Service Description

Pal Wisdom Year 4 Maths continues Stage 2 of the NESA Mathematics K–10 syllabus, extending students’ skills in number, operations, and reasoning. Students work confidently with numbers to 10,000, consolidate all multiplication and division facts, and explore more complex fractions and decimals. They investigate geometry, measurement, and data through problem-solving tasks that connect maths to everyday life. The program develops accuracy, logical thinking, and resilience, preparing students for the challenges of Stage 3 mathematics. Key Skills Covered: Counting, ordering, and renaming numbers to 10,000 Efficient strategies for addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division Multiplication and division facts to 12 × 12 Fractions (halves, quarters, eighths, thirds, fifths) and decimals to hundredths Converting between units for length, mass, capacity, and time Calculating area and perimeter of shapes Identifying angles and properties of 2D and 3D shapes Representing and interpreting data in tables, graphs, and charts
