Service Description
Pal Wisdom Year 3 Maths marks the beginning of Stage 2 in the NESA Mathematics K–10 syllabus, deepening students’ understanding of number, operations, and problem-solving. Students work with numbers to 10,000, develop quick recall of multiplication and division facts, and expand their knowledge of fractions and decimals. They explore more complex patterns, shapes, measurement, and data through real-world applications and investigations. The program promotes critical thinking, accuracy, and persistence, building a strong foundation for upper primary mathematics. Key Skills Covered: Counting, ordering, and partitioning numbers to 10,000 Addition and subtraction with larger numbers Multiplication and division facts to 10 × 10 Fractions (halves, quarters, eighths) and introduction to tenths/decimals Measuring length, mass, capacity, and area using standard units Reading time to the minute; understanding calendars and timetables Identifying and comparing 2D and 3D shapes and symmetry Gathering, representing, and interpreting data in tables and graphs
