Service Description

Pal Wisdom Year 2 Maths strengthens students’ number skills and problem-solving abilities in line with the NESA Mathematics K–10 syllabus for Stage 1. Students work confidently with numbers to 1,000, develop fluency with addition and subtraction to 100, and explore multiplication, division, and fractions in greater depth. They expand their understanding of patterns, shapes, measurement, and data through engaging, real-world learning. The program fosters independence, reasoning, and a positive attitude towards maths, preparing students for the transition to Stage 2. Key Skills Covered: Counting to 1,000; skip counting by 2s, 3s, 5s, and 10s Addition and subtraction within 100 Multiplication and division facts for 2, 3, 5, and 10 Halves, quarters, and eighths of shapes and collections Identifying and classifying 2D and 3D shapes Reading time to the quarter-hour Using standard units for length, mass, and capacity Collecting, representing, and interpreting data
